About the Training Observatory
Aims and objectives
The aim of the Training Observatory is to support the establishment of a specific CPD and training information network to support professionals working with the Arts with children and young people in volatile and challenging situations, across the key social inclusion sectors of education, criminal justice, health, and community regeneration; and to support the development of standards and core competencies being developed by organisatins for those professionals that are recognised across those key sectors.
The objectives of the Training Observatory are to enable artists and other key professionals to plan their professional development for this specific area of practice, and to develop and maintain professional standards that are understood and accepted by commissioners of services across the key social inclusion sectors of education, health, crime and regeneration.
