Why I am involved in the Training Observatory

Artswork has been involved in the development of the Training Observatory since it's inception and continues to support the development of the Observatory. The Training Observatory offers a chance to improve access to, and the quality of, training provision for professionals working with young people in volatile and challenging situations. The driving forward of standards and the creation of clearer signposting and guidance for people working directly with the target group will ultimately benefit the lives of young people.

Area of expertise/interest

Artswork brings an extensive, national, knowledge of continuing professional development in the youth arts field (specifically with young people at risk). In addition Artswork has an expert track record of recruiting and supporting trainers. Artswork created the first 'Youth Arts Learning Passport' which has enabled countless professionals to plan their own cpd pathways.
