Children in Scotland

Children in Scotland is the national agency for voluntary, statutory and professional organisations and individuals working with children and their families in Scotland.

Children in Scotland makes connections between research and policy, and practitioners' everyday experiences, to influence policy and to develop best practice in working with and for children and young people.

Giving busy practitioners the chance to reflect upon and develop their work is the aim of our many training programmes, seminars and conferences. Working in partnership with a range of specialist partners, many of who are our members, we work to improve the quality and effectiveness of services for children, young people and their families by sharing knowledge and experience and offering guidance. We are registered Continuing Professional Development providers with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
